Render's HTTP request serving infrastructure was the target of a DDoS attack that started at approximately 5:30 AM UTC on January 8 and was mitigated by Render engineers by approximately 6:00 AM UTC.
Web applications hosted on Render saw increased request latencies during this period, and some websites experienced timeouts.
We've taken steps to prevent this from happening again and continue to monitor the situation.
